Recently I lent a great but obscure book to a buddy. I knew it could shed light on some quandaries and conundrums. But I also suspected it wouldn’t fit his current reading taste. Not easily. At first he told me how many books were already waiting on his stack. But then to my surprise he said he’d squeeze it in.
