God Bless the Dogged
walking through some snow’s a bad deal the whole time
but some time you’ve places to go
when there’s a purpose that buzzes with light
it don’t mean one fears less the snow
sometimes your feetprints, get sticky like blood
and its scary to exit the boat
the moments you fear, feeling dead down with weight
might cause legs to render no float
so this why to smile and register like salute
when you notice a wee thing plod forward
for life is a blizzard, that get’s thicker at times
so go put every courage to the scoreboard
